What you ingest has a direct correlation to how you feel and look, right? Don't get me wrong, though! I love comfort food, and to overindulge once in a while, but sometimes when you do that too often your body starts getting mad at you.
You may or may not have heard about the master cleanse (I’m not going to talk about cleanses). What I’m talking about is the main ingredients that make it up.
Lemon, maple syrup, cayenne. Simple, right?
For over a year, I’ve been drinking this every morning first thing, sometimes multiple times a day and what I’ll tell you is that it’s delicious. It jump starts your body by cleaning out some toxins, and it’s also great for your skin. The lemon and cayenne pepper cause a trigger to get rid of those toxins and the maple has just enough carbohydrates to keep you going. Hope you enjoy it!
- 1 lemon, organic if possible, and squeezed
- 1-3 tsp grade b maple syrup if possible
- 1/8 tsp (a dash) cayenne pepper
- warm water (tea temperature)
Squeeze the lemon into a mug, add your maple syrup and cayenne. Top off with water and stir. Enjoy until your hearts content.
