It’s Frosé season!

Overview

When the weather gets sunny and 70+ it’s rosé season. But when the weather gets sunny and 80+, it’s frosé season, y’all!

I mean, I want a baked good. To be perfectly clear, I want an oatmeal cookie.

But again. How do I do this without turning the oven on?

For a while now I have been playing around with no bake cookie bites or protein bites and this is a good one. These No Bake Oatmeal Cookie Bites have that warmth from cinnamon, are full of oats, include protein from cashew butter, and are refined sugar free, if you choose to use a sugar substitute or use coconut palm sugar. Done in 5 minutes, it beats turning the oven on in that 95+ degree weather.

Makes 10-12 bites

Shopping List

  • 1 bottle of rosé; Malbec or Pinot noir would be best. It’s doesn’t have to be super pricey!
  • 3/4 cup strawberry mint simple syrup, recipe below
  • 1/2 cup vodka, I used Tito’s.
  • Handful of fresh strawberries

Wine that has been frozen will still have some liquid in the bag, but should look like this.

Method

Pour the bottle of wine in a gallon ziplock bag. Freeze over night. It won’t be 100% frozen.

When ready to serve, place wine in a blender. Add the simple syrup and vodka plus a handful of ice cubes and some strawberries. Purée til slushie and delicious. Serve in wine glasses, immediately!
