Don’t even know it’s for  Passover Granola

For reals. This is some crunchy and addicting magic right here. So let’s just get to it, shall we? 

Shopping List

  • 1.5 cups matza farfel (can sub oats)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans  
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup sour cherries
  • 8-10 dates, pitted and chopped
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup  
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method 

Preheat oven to 325. Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet and set aside. In a microwaveable bowl, stir the coconut oil, honey, and maple syrup. Heat in the microwave for about 45 seconds til the coconut oil is melted. Add the farfel, nuts, and fruit to the bowl with the liquid and mix until thoroughly coated.

Spread the granola evenly onto your prepared baking sheet, sprinkle with cinnamon, and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove the oven and let cool on the baking sheet completely. Break up the granola and store in an air tight container, should last the week... if it’s not eaten by then.
