Anyone who knows me… And I mean really knows me, knows I like two types of martinis. The classic extra dirty martini, but with vodka and blue cheese stuffed olives (are ya with me??), and the French Martini. Not to get all shmoopy and lovey-dovey on you, but this is a drink that my husband, Justin, started making for me when we were just dating. It is for sure one of my favorites and super easy to make, as well!
Makes one cocktail, easy to double!
- 2 ounces vodka, I prefer using one of the following; Ketel One, Grey Goose, or Tito’s.
- 1/2 ounce Chambord, or another raspberry liqueur
- 2 ounces Pineapple Juice
Pour all ingredients into a blender filled with ice and shake it like a Polaroid picture. This is important because you want that frothy foam and shaking helps do the job!
Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass* and serve immediately. À ta santé!
*To pre-chill your glass, grab some ice, place it in your martini glass, and add water or soda water. Allow the glass to chill while you make your cocktail!
