Espresso Martini Jell-O Shots

Think back to college (or last weekend if you’re in college). Jell-O Shots. You know them. You love them.

Last night we went to a tiki party that had Jell-O shots. It was all sorts of nostalgic, and I felt inspired to craft a Jell-O shot made out of ingredients that make an espresso martini, a cocktail I love. The result was so good I had to share it immediately with you.

Jell-O Shots

Serves a crowd

Shopping List

  • 3 packets of gelatin (3/4 oz) 
  • 1 cup of freshly brewed espresso or freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 cup of vodka, I used Tito’s  
  •  1/2 cup BomBom Brands Coco Mochanut 
  • 1/2 cup BomBom Brands Fully Baked

Method 

In a sauce pan,  place your freshly brewed coffee and pour the packets of gelatin on top. Let sit for a couple minutes. Whisk the liquid and gelatin together and place over medium low heat for five or so minutes until gelatin is fully dissolved (don’t let the coffee boi). Remove from heat. Pour in the vodka and BomBom liqueurs. Place in your molds, Jell-O shot cups, or like I did, a baking sheet lined with parchment. Place in the fridge until firm. When ready to serve, add your whipped topping of choice with some chocolate sprinkles.

Note: if you had the gelatin form in a baking sheet, use a small cookie cutter to form little discs. I opted to use the tip of a piping top. I went ahead and layered whipped cream on top of each disc, and then placed another disc, with a final layer of whipped cream on top, and then the sprinkles. I placed these in the freezer to firm up prior to “dressing them”, I love a chilled sweet treat. Hope you enjoy making these for your next party or get together!
