Jackie Cooks + Drinks
This is a simple cream cheese frosting that is perfect for carrot or red velvet cake, those oatmeal sandwich cookies like Little Debbie makes, or even straight outta the bowl, not that I have ANY experience doing that.

Cuisine American
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1 pinch salt
- 1-1.5 cup(s) sifted powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
In a large mixing bowl, with either a hand held mixer or a large stand mixer, whisk the butter and cream cheese until smooth, creamy, and soft. Whip in the vanilla and spices and then slowly add in the powdered sugar. Add the whipping cream a little at a time until the mixture has a fluffy and creamy frosting like consistency. Eat with a spoon, as a dip with some cinnamon pita chips, or in/on your favorite baked good!
