Big Game
Crowd Pleasers

Overview

Raise your hand if you’re excited for the the BIG GAME!! (🙋)

For the Superbowl, people tune in not only for the game, but also the commercials. If you, your family, or a friend is hosting a party, you’re probably also looking forward to the game day snacks and drinks!

I put together a few of my tweaked classics that are sure to be a hit for your Superbowl party. I surveyed family and friends, and pretty much everyone had the same response to “favorite big game snacks.” Two of the most common responses were nachos and buffalo chicken ANYTHING.

Here we have a few of my favorite appetizers along with a couple of my crowd pleasing entrees. Give them a try during this years Supeebowl when the Eagles take on TB12 and the Patriots!

Hi, I’m Jackie, Founder of Jackie Cooks and Drinks, and a BIG believer that cooking, creating and entertaining should be FUN.

Menu 1: It’s a Super Bowl Fiesta!

Mini Guacamole and Bean Tostadas

Let’s start off with a play on nachos that gives your fans a bite if everything they want.  Give the mini bean and guacamole tostadas a try.

Enchiladas

What has cheese and sauce and tastes amazing? Enchiladas!! This recipe is simple to double and serves a crowd really well. Use any protein you want, and you have yourself a meal.

Margarita

I mean, need I say more? Sure, have the beer ready to go, but COME ON, how fun are margaritas! You may already know (or realized) that I have a sweet spot in my heart for margaritas, or just tequila in general, so it’s a no brainer this drink was making it into this Superbowl  menu.

My basic margarita recipe is easy to make for a crowd. Just double, triple, or quadruple the recipe and serve with ice. You could serve this in a punch bowl, a pitcher, a carafe, really, anything works.

Menu 2: All Buffalo All The Time!

You have a house full of hangry buffalo loving football fans. What on earth do you do? Well you can start off by making these adorable little buffalo chicken dip tacos. They’re cheesy, creamy, and spicy.

Mini Buffalo Chicken Tacos

Buffalo Chickpea Hummus

Let’s say you want a healthier option. My buffalo chickpea hummus is all the spice but less fat than your typical spread or dip for Superbowl Sunday.

Buffalo Chicken Soup

Ever been in a situation where you want to have wings but can’t stand the mess? Maybe there is a chance I’m alone on this, but I have, so I made up this buffalo chicken soup and it’s basically like little little spicy angels are singing to you.

Beer-o-rita

Befor you get all, don’t fix what isn’t broken, Jackie… I am well aware that I could just say for this buffalo everything menu to just serve beer.  After all, it IS a classic pairing and there is NO reason to reinvent the wheel. However, that being said… Might I suggest mixing up your Mexican style beer with a light version of a margarita (shocker 😂). Here’s how to do it: Shopping List (per cocktail):

  • 6-8 ounces Mexican style beer, such as Corona, Negro Modelo, Del Sol, etc.
  • 1.5 ounces Tequila
  • .5 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice

Method: Pour tequila, Cointreau, and lime into a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a highball glass. Pour your beer on top and serve with a lime wedge. Salt optional. Have a safe, happy, and victorious Superbowl Sunday! -Jackie
